These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Nordic Insights website and educational services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Use of Services

Eligibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of any account credentials
  • One account per individual; account sharing is prohibited

Acceptable Use

User Responsibilities

3. Prohibited Uses

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

All content, including course materials, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, remains the property of Nordic Insights. This content is protected by Finnish and international copyright laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use course materials for personal educational purposes only. This license does not grant rights to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.

User-Generated Content

By submitting projects, discussions, or other content through our platform, you grant Nordic Insights a license to use this content for educational purposes, including as examples for other students.

You retain ownership of your original work but agree not to submit content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.

Third-Party Content

Some course materials may reference or incorporate third-party content used under appropriate licenses. Such content remains the property of its respective owners and is subject to their terms of use.

5. Course Enrollment and Access

Enrollment Process

Course enrollment requires completing our registration process and paying applicable fees. Enrollment is confirmed when you receive written confirmation from Nordic Insights.

Course Access

Upon enrollment, you receive access to course materials for the duration specified in your course description. Access extends 12 months after course completion for reference purposes.

Prerequisites

Some courses have prerequisite requirements. You are responsible for ensuring you meet these requirements before enrolling. We may assess your background during enrollment to recommend appropriate starting points.

Completion Requirements

Course completion requires finishing all assigned projects and assessments according to program guidelines. Completion certificates are issued upon satisfactory completion of requirements.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment Terms

  • Course fees must be paid in full or according to agreed installment plans
  • Prices are listed in Euros and include applicable Finnish VAT
  • We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, and approved payment processors
  • Prices are subject to change but locked at time of enrollment

Cancellation Policy

  • Full refund available if cancellation occurs at least 14 days before course start
  • Partial refund (50%) available if cancellation occurs 7-14 days before start
  • No refund available for cancellations less than 7 days before start or after course begins
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to be processed

Course Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify course schedules with reasonable notice to enrolled students
  • Cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment (full refund provided)
  • Update course content to reflect current industry practices
  • Replace instructors when necessary while maintaining quality standards

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

Our educational services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding specific learning outcomes or career results.

Educational Outcomes

While we strive to provide quality education, individual learning outcomes depend on personal effort, background, and circumstances beyond our control. We do not guarantee employment or specific career advancement.

Limitation of Liability

Nordic Insights' liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific course in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

Technical Issues

We are not responsible for technical difficulties, internet outages, or device compatibility issues that prevent access to course materials. We will make reasonable efforts to address technical problems within our control.

8. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us to resolve any disputes informally. Most concerns can be addressed through direct communication.

Mediation

If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually acceptable mediator before pursuing litigation. Mediation costs are shared equally.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through informal means or mediation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Helsinki, Finland.

Language

These terms are written in English. In case of any dispute regarding interpretation, the English version shall prevail over any translations.

9. Termination

By You

You may terminate your enrollment according to our cancellation policy outlined in Section 6. Course access will be removed upon termination processing.

By Us

We may terminate your access immediately for violation of these terms, including prohibited activities, harassment, or fraudulent behavior. No refund will be provided in cases of termination for cause.

Effects of Termination

Upon termination, your access to course materials will cease. Certain provisions of these terms, including intellectual property rights and limitation of liability, survive termination.

10. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nordic Insights regarding use of our services.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party at our discretion.
